Hi, I’m Anna Maria—though most people just call me Anna or Anne. My love for interiors began when my husband and I bought our first home. As we renovated, I had a lightbulb moment: this is what I want to do for the rest of my life! That realisation led me to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Interior Design, a Foundation Degree, followed by a BA in Interior Design from the National Design Academy.

With every year of studying, my passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces only grew stronger. I believe our homes have a profound impact on our well-being, and I wanted to share that belief with others. That’s why I started my blog, focusing on affordable interior design—especially for small spaces. My mission? To show everyone that you too can have a beautiful home, no matter your budget or space constraints.

Today, I work as an interior designer, helping people transform their houses into homes they love. Whether you’re drawn to cosy cottage charm or modern minimalism, I’m here to bring your vision to life—with minimal spending and minimal environmental impact.

My Style & Inspiration

My personal style is heavily inspired by the warmth and charm of a cosy cottage. (Fun fact: I currently live in a 1930s house, but my dream is to one day retire to a little cottage by the sea!) Until then, I’m all about infusing those cottagey vibes into every room in our house and creating comfort, relaxation, and a sense of home into every space I design.
